This is my flock (or as you all call them, family.) Left to right are: my cousin Norman, Ramses (in front), Pappy (in back), Phebe, in front: Lanolyn, Penelope, and Beau; in back: Enya -- the big sister who looks after us all. Norman is the "bouncer" for our flock. He is Title I Heavyweight Wolf wrestling champion and makes sure we are safe while romping in the pasture. Pappy is our grandfather, and we aren't sure he's all there. He keeps telling us stories of flying corsairs with the Marine Corps and shooting down 57 Japanese Zeroes. Phebe sits around writing all day, and the rest of the kids just want to eat daisies and berries.
I will be taking this photo with me in my log book to share with those I meet on the trail!
